Desicions have been made. Maybe?

Over the last week of holiday I have been working in my garden, to fight my weeds. Its as hard as a geek can get. Fight those weeds geek boy :)

I've been doing a lot of thinking. Which to be honest was the whole point of the week off work. Its been so hard to not do any work on the PC at all. To stop myself from coding for the games. Apart from the caching stuff, which I did smack myself around the head for doing, with a wet soggy fish. Bad Noobs what were you thinking, doing work on your holiday.

So what did I think.

I have decided to do a full script by script layout change to KoR as I decided before, but not add the KoR 3 addons as previously expected. KoR will be updated with new options, but not the updates I have in mind for a new game. So what am I thinking of. Well I want to create a new KoR, a new concept, a new way of doing things. I have started coding it. Got very disorientated by it all but feel that I am ready to continue, as the separation will make the new game better. See the databases the code and everything for KoR just limits the changes I can make. Its needs a new start. New characters everything.

I want to emphasis that KoR is not dead, it will continue as it is. no resets etc. I have updates for it, I will still add these but I have a new version coming that will be a new KoR. This will be a separate game. Something new, something unique. A new way of doing these kind of games. Its will be a KoR advanced, the next chapter. With a new URL and everything, a completely separate game.

I also have plans for 2 other games too, which I will announce over the next 3 months. This will be a summer of productivity for me. So you really need to keep an eye on this blog if you want to see whats happening. I will be posting links to beta's, my ideas, some code, lots of things that will be interesting to you, I hope. Subscribe to the feed, and keep up with the news and announcements. The blog is not 100% KoR related, more what I do, what I like, what I want to comment on. I also want to add more reviews of other peoples games and things I am interested in. I'll also try to make it a more intersting read too, with pictures etc. Its new to me this blogging thing, but I think I now understand it all.

I am also building up my confidence to release a podcast on itunes, I'm a pretty none people geeky person so this takes a while. I may even start doing a few Video Blogs (Vlogs) too. If people are willing to talk to me via skype I hope to interview a few developers and players in the world of PBBG's. Some new content is coming to ZeroShadow Network, which will concentrate on the PBBG world. There are a lot of game in this field and very little coverage, there are also very few places to get advice as an owner or player, I hope to change this.
